Founded in 2015, Sastra Film (SASTRA Co., Ltd) is one of Cambodia’s leading entertainment companies, recognized for its strong creative vision and diverse production capabilities. The company specializes in the development and production of feature films, short films, TV dramas, original soundtracks and music, as well as digital content for audiences in Cambodia and international markets.

With a focus on commercially driven genres such as horror, emotional drama, romance, and family, Sastra Film consistently delivers cinematic storytelling designed for theatrical exhibition, broadcast television, OTT platforms, and digital distribution. Its productions have reached audiences across ASEAN and global territories including Taiwan, the Philippines, Laos, Myanmar, and Russia.

SASTRA FILM is thrilled to introduce SASTRA FILM International, a new initiative dedicated to producing feature films for emerging markets. This expansion seeks to bring together international artists, diverse creative teams, and a variety of languages for audiences worldwide, starting from the heart of Cambodia.
SASTRA FILM is broadening its reach in the feature film market, aiming for contemporary around the world. Each year, it produces more than 20 feature film titles, primarily concentrating on the horror thriller genres with a unique cinematic vision. Films have been released in Cambodia, the Philippines, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar Russia, and more.

Bun Channimol is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Executive Producer of Sastra Film (SASTRA Co., Ltd), a company built on love, creativity, and the power to inspire audiences. Since establishing the company in 2015, she has guided its artistic vision and strategic growth, leading the studio’s evolution into a dynamic production house with expanding reach in regional and international cinema markets.

With multidisciplinary experience as a producer, writer, and director, she has overseen the development of numerous feature films and television productions across genres such as horror, romance, emotional drama, and family. As Executive Producer, she plays a key role in shaping large-scale cinematic projects and strengthening partnerships for theatrical distribution.
She also leads the company’s expansion into international cinema, developing English-language productions and cross-border collaborations with global artists and creative teams. In addition, she spearheaded the launch of the Sastra Film App, enhancing digital distribution and global accessibility for Cambodian stories.
